The Wentworth Institute of Technology needed a new website that would better engage with prospective students. WIT was looking for a new digital platform that would increase qualified applicants, capture more online leads, encourage more applicants to visit campus and to recruit more female students.


With Acquia Cloud, Wentworth Institute of Technology was able to deploy and manage a large collection of sites on one platform. Leveraging Acquia Cloud as a Service, WIT unified all of their technical systems a securely connect to internal applications and external web services.

Boston Interactive, a partnering digital agency, aided in the development of this project.


Wentworth Institute of Technology’s new website reflects the values of WIT by providing users with a site that showcases hand-on education. cooperative learning, and focus on career success. With simplified and intuitive processes to share content, WIT.edu can now speak to all audiences, including alumni and CPCE. The new site also seamlessly ties programs to career advancement. By improving the user journey, Wentworth has been able to achieve better conversions among applicants.
